07/05/2010SaxonAir Charter Adds Hawker 400XP to its Fleet
Norwich based private jet charter company, SaxonAir has become the first UK operator to add the Hawker 400XP to its Air Operators Certificate (AOC). The company will operate its own aircraft from Norwich International Airport, but have also taken on another managed aircraft based at Edinburgh Airport, providing SaxonAir with a second UK operating base and further expansion into the Scottish market.
SaxonAir will be chartering flights in the Hawker 400XP from early May 2010.

EBACE 2010 Opens
The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, the private jet industry's annual trade fair, opened today in Geneva. Running for the next three days, the exhibition is where manufacturers showcase their latest products to Europe's private jet operators.
New aircraft being displayed include the Citation CJ4, the latest evolution of Cessna's efficient narrow body jet range. Longer than the CJ3, and yet faster and more capable, the newcomer is set to be a sure favourite in the European charter arena.
On the Hawker Beechcraft stand, the news was the European certification of their new Hawker 4000 super mid-size jet. Claimed to be the world's most advanced private jet, the USD21m aircraft impresses with both its speed and its range.
